Darren Rabie's Bio

Business History: Darren Rabie, President of Focus America, began
his career as the co-founder of The Results Group - an outsourced business
development firm for Industrial and Technology companies. Over the next
6 years, The Results Group grew to 27 employees, dozens of active clients,
and several million dollars in yearly turnover.
In 2003 Darren Rabie founded Focus America - a firm committed to increasing
the performance and productivity of sales organizations. Darren's highly
process-oriented tools, structures and strategies - implemented through
consulting projects, public and private training sessions, as well as
seminars and workshops - have proven to be very successful.
Workshop: Darren has facilitated over 100 workshops
throughout North America with topics including "How To Turn Leads
Into Sales"; "How To Drive Prospects"; "Improving
Your Close Ratio & Making the Sale"; and "How To
Have A Balanced Sales & Marketing Attack".
Some of his venues/clients have included National Manufacturing Week;
Instrumentation, Systems & Automation Society; Society of Manufacturing
Engineering; Assembly Tech Expo; the Industrial Heating Equip Assoc.;
Chem Show; Fabtech Expo; PMTS; Quality Expo, as well as being a speaker
for TEC (The Executive Committee).

Personal: Darren was born in Cape Town, South Africa but has lived
in Toronto since 1977 (except for a brief stint in Australia in 1996-97).
