Our Philosophy

Our philosophy is simple!! We will work with you to ensure the tools, structures and/or strategies we have put into your organization are working consistently to deliver on the objectives you expected.

Accountability:

At Focus, we believe you are buying a result - not an effort. Therefore, after completing any and every project, we set "results-oriented" objectives and then monitor the performance, making whatever changes are required to ensure that the objectives are met.

For example...if tools were built to improve your close ratio, specific objectives would be set (e.g. 10% close ratio after 3 months) and monitored on a monthly basis together (via meetings). If the tools aren't working, it's our responsibility to figure out why and look to solve it.


SMART Objectives:

It's easy to pick "fluffy" objectives to illustrate success of a new tool or strategy - but that is not enough to be truly effective.

Focus will work with you to build SMART Objectives - Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Timely. More specifically, these objectives will be quantifiable and hopefully financially successful.


Pricing:

We believe you are buying a result - not time and effort - so we don't focus on "billable hours".

Once the needs are scoped and a fixed price is agreed to, we begin working.
Whether we work 10 or 100 hours, two things are guaranteed:
1. We are committed to delivering the results you expect;
2. You won't get the "I need more money" phone call.

Finally, for project work (not workshops), we typically bill over 3-9 months, even if most of the time-intensive work was done early on in the project. This way you are seeing results and then paying; seeing results and then paying; etc...


Paddling together:

Unlike other consulting agencies, we have no intention of jumping in, putting in a quite fix solution, and moving on.
Focus wants to work with you on an ongoing basis to improve the performance and productivity of your sales organization - doing things one measurable step at a time.
