Darren looks to bring his audience into the workshop to participate in the 'discussion'. He tries to facilitate a dialogue throughout the session. Darren also frequently asks questions, challenges the group, and has been known to choose participants to loosen up the room.

Every workshop emphasizes 'fun' first and 'content' second, since it is well known that people learn better when they are enjoying themselves and engaging each other.
