Interim Sales Manager

Problem: No one is managing/leading the sales organization.
There is no question that strong leadership can impact a team’s performance. That is equally true for sales.

But, for many smaller organizations, responsibility for leading the sales organization often resides with the President, General Manager or Owner. In these situations, a combination of workload, priorities and skill set can result in a sales team being managed “reactively” (only when problems exist) or not all.

Impact:

  • Reactive sales leadership. Little time spent in planning and strategy
  • Insufficient investment in developing the sales team’s skills
  • Inconsistent metrics & performance evaluations
  • Lack of accountability within the sales team

Solution: Focus America’s Interim Sales Manager Program
What is Sales Management?

Sales Management has 2 components:

  1. Being a Sales Resource on a project by project basis.
  2. Building, leading, measuring & managing the sales team.

While most companies have many people who can be a “resource” (technical or otherwise) to the sales team, there may not be the budget or need for a full-time Sales Manager, yet the team still lacks direction, accountability and measurability.

Let Focus America act as your Interim Sales Manager.
