Your Business Model

Typically, Focus specializes in working with clients in Manufacturing, Industrial, Machinery, Professional Services and Technology industries. All of these markets rely on a very strategic, deliberate and proactive approach to sales. In addition, these businesses tend to need to manage sales activity, sales strategy, information and relationships.


Your Target Market

Our clients sell to a niche, specific marketplace where not 'everyone' is a prospect.


Product/Service

Our clients sell "solutions" (as compared to commodities) whereby their average customer spends at least $5000/yr – either in a one-time sale or throughout a year.


Sales Cycle

While this is not a rule, generally speaking, many of our clients sell products/services that require a longer sales cycle of 3 to 12 months +.


Goals

Management and/or ownership is looking to improve, duplicate, grow and/or structure a sales organization. There is a desire to take the sales organization to the “next level”.


Sales Strategy

Success in sales often requires a more consultative sales approach where the sales person must understand the needs and develop specific – sometimes customized – solutions.


Business Size

While we work with all sizes of companies – from start-ups to Fortune 500’s – Focus traditionally fits best with small to medium-sized companies ($1 Million - $50 Million). These are companies that do not have the time, knowledge and/or resources to improve their sales organization’s performance on their own and are looking for a long-term, outsourced relationship with a “partnership” feel.
